Sales Associate

Description

Sales Associate will be responsible for driving sales efforts with a focus on: driving sales bookings growth. Focus areas include: full sales cycle execution and sales performance analysis. There will be opportunity for leadership growth as the company and sales team grows. You’ll work directly under the CEO and collaborate with the Vidcode growth and sales teams.

 

Responsibilities

  • Own the sales funnel across the entire sales process – from initial calls to close

  • Phone calls with teachers and school administrators who are interested in Vidcode

  • Schedule and conduct webinars, meetings, product demos and presentations with district administrators and key decision-makers

  • Represent Vidcode in local/regional industry events and conferences

  • Organize local and regional events, lunch and learns, and customer presentations for generating new prospects and leads

  • Work with marketing to create lead generation and sales conversion strategies

  • Meet or succeed monthly sales-qualified-lead quotas

  • Contribute to all functions involved in the sales cycle, including forecasting, reporting, CRM data organization, customer communications, and creating sales campaigns

  • Keep good documentation on your leads and calls, and maintain an organized pipeline

  • Follow and improve our sales processes

 

Who we’re looking for

  • You are a great communicator

  • Friendly and comfortable on the phone

  • Extremely organized and detail oriented

  • Passion for education, particularly addressing issues of equity and computer science

  • 6 months – 3 years sales experience

These are all added bonuses, but not necessary:

  • Experience selling to the K-12 or similar market

  • Demonstrated ability to communicate and present credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization, including Superintendent, CAO, CIO, and Director level
