Educators welcome to attend the webinars without earning a certificate. If you’re not able to make it at a specific time, all signups will receive a copy of a recording.
Vidcode 101: An Introduction
Vidcode 101 is designed for anyone who is new to Vidcode, and wants to get started using Vidcode in their classrooms! Participants will experience all the interactive features and explore the Vidcode activities.

Intro to JavaScript
An introduction to the JavaScript programming language. At the end of this webinar you'll:
Understand JS terminology and functions
Create projects using the Vidcode JavaScript library
Coding in Subject Areas
This webinar will introduce teachers to teaching computer programming to integrate it into their existing lessons, no matter what subject area they teach. By the end of the webinar, you'll have the tools to create customized lessons leveraging Vidcode's scaffolded tutorials and lesson plans.
Digital Portfolios in the Computer Science Classroom
This webinar will introduce the importance of students showing work and reflecting on their progress through digital portfolios, different tools to create online portfolios, and show where to go on the Vidcode platform to find relevant prompts for students at each stage of their learning.
K-12 Computer Science Standards: A Deep Dive
In this webinar, we'll do a deep dive into new K-12 CS Standards that are rolling out across the United States. We'll cover strategies to plan courses aligned to CS standards by design, as well as how to incorporate CS Standards into existing courses, in both technology classes and across subject areas.
10-Hour Virtual Educator Course
Educators can move through the Virtual Educator course at their own pace to get a deep dive into Vidcode and teaching with JavaScript. The virtual course is included in certain packages, and free during health-related school closures. Email [email protected] for more information.
