Account Representative
Part-time, remote
Vidcode's mission is to provide an engaging and accessible way for all students to learn computer programming and discover the code behind their favorite things. Vidcode is a Y Combinator-backed company in a growing industry. We're a small, agile team and looking for someone to help support the educators and schools using Vidcode.
Job Description
In this position, you play a central role: supporting educators on the Vidcode platform. You'll be the face of Vidcode to the thousands of teachers who sign up each year, finding ways to spread the word, onboarding new teachers, and supporting them throughout the year.
As the account representative for our fully distributed company, you’ll conduct initial calls with teachers and administrators looking to integrate Vidcode into their schools’ coding curriculum. You'll help them explore our courses, learning outcomes and curriculum so they can make a decision as to whether they want to teach coding with Vidcode. It's fun to go to work every day knowing you're helping deliver coding courses that over 11 million students love and 12,000 schools have implemented already. We're part of an inspiring K12 CS community nationwide that cares about making computer science education more equitable for all.
For schools already using Vidcode (there are thousands!), you'll be part of the team that checks in throughout the year to ensure they are set up for success. You’ll be watching our leaderboards to see who is using Vidcode the most or the least and following up with those schools for things like upgrades or support. Many of the teachers who use Vidcode's online coding tutorials in their classroom are teaching computer science for the very first time. This position is a special opportunity to impact the next generation of STEM leaders! Things our customers say:
"Vidcode is the best way to teach coding that I've ever experienced!"
"A perfect product to excite teens about coding"
